Thumbs up Hi all and MP22 Ultra Magnus Question

Hi ladies and gents, I am new to this site, got wind of this site on TFW2005, its great to meet just as many Aussie transformers fans. I need a question answered if anybody can help me please. I have bought MP22 Takara Ultra Magnus for my collection, and now my new favourite, was looking at the OZ Toys R Us website, and our boy is up for sale (thanks for the heads up Griffin), is he a Takara Edition or a Hasbro edition? Could some body please help with some info. Loving this site, Was born a G1 fan, but I am not a Bay hater, love the movies for various reasons, but there is some dislike, collection count at 300 and growing.

    Can't wait to discuss

    Dan

The exact same Takara release with translated instructions & bio booklet.

    Hi and welcome.

MP UM is the Takara version but the only difference is that the instructions and bio are in English which was translated by our own GoktimusPrime at the request of Hasbro Australia.

We currently have had MP Wheeljack & MP Bumblebee on sale at Aussie Toys R Us stores, we are also going to get Star Sabre fairly soon.

The Hasbro releases of MP Wheeljack and Bumblebee also have translated instructions/bios; Wheeljack's was translated by a translation company, and Bumblebee's was translated in-house by Hasbro themselves. And for some weird reason, Bumblebee's instructions have a picture of MP Wheeljack on the top.

But no-one descended into an internet rage-fueled diatribe over that.

Thanks for the heads up on Ultra Magnus, I really was hoping Hasbro/Toys R Us would bring their own version with the original G1 toy colours. Fingers are crossed that this would happen one day.

They may not be in G1 colours. It's a speculation.
