I haven't posted an acquisition for a while, so I thought I'd share this, the last alternator/Binaltech I want:

Good to see some G1 happening.

@ Trent , Is that the die-cast version? Looks sweet!. (i have a customized plastic one but I have never pulled it out of the box) Im always impressed how they managed to keep the doors and hoods opening as they're supposed to on those things... Now to get a real one

Unfortunately they never released a die-cast version of that mould. Plastic only

Alternator Mirage. I have the eHobby exclusive BT version, which is only in "invisible" transparent. I actually think the Alternator version looks better... wouldn't mind getting that if I could find it for a decent price.

I thought Binaltech versions were metal and the Alternators were plastic.

So this mould was never released in Die-cast or in a standard BT style box?
    No BT Hotrod either then?

That is correct chum. Mirage was an alternators release only.

Nope. And Hot Rod was released as KISS Players and then as an SDCC (I think) exclusive.
