Now that I look back at that picture, Cybertron isn't really that big if you can see all the buildings on the surface from space. Wouldn't Primus/Cybertron's total circumference be like 10km?

I assume they are megastructures and the image is close.

It depends. The size of Cybertron (and Unicron) varies wildly depending on canonical sources. Sometimes it's the size of the Moon, other times the size of Jupiter! I'm still amazed that Cybertron's atmosphere is breathable to humans! (awfully convenient)

It depends on the franchise, but generally, Cybertron isn't big. Unlike Earth, it isn't mostly covered in sea and it uses a lot more of its 'underground' space. In TFTM it's described as "the small planet of Cybertron" and despite general inconsistency*, if you look at its curvature and scale next to Unicron and robots it isn't so big.

*In the Marvel comics Cybertron was said to be the same size as Saturn, but it clearly isn't in issues like (off the top of my head) US#74 and #75.
