Blu-rays can be multi-region, it's up to the studio's discretion. Paramount almost always makes theirs region ABC (region free). And in the case of AOE it is region ABC so enjoy your early and cheap copy of AOE.

If I had the space I would get one even tho I have my copy of AOE already.
I have a list of all G1 characters that have been released in CHUG form. You can find it here. Please feel free to let me know if I got anything wrong so I can fix it.

I bought this just for the Statue, when Christalcase posted about it in the other DVD/Blu-Ray news topic. The Blu-ray is just a bonus, as I'll probably never get to use it, unless I one day have a home-theatre set up to make the most of the high-definition (which is wasted on a regular home TV like mine).

I bought it with the X-Men movie (which was also heavily discounted to just $15), and shipping for the pair was just US$9.
Not a bad deal at all.

It was posted on the 2nd in the main DVD/Blu-ray news topic, but probably needed to be more noticeable.

Is the blu ray compatible with Australian region? (I use PS3 as my blu ray player)

On amazon it looks like its lock to region A (US CANADA).
