Damn... those things are just getting cheaper... after I spent $20 each on them.

Speaking of being discounted... and after only being released for a couple of weeks - Trading Card Game Starter Pack at Kmart Sunnybank - on Clearance for $19 (from $25).

    .

Even though the Kmart clearance tags are for items that are no longer at their warehouse for restocking of the stores (they probably only received a small batch that went to all of the stores at once), it is extremely odd to have something discounted after less than three weeks in-store (November 4th was when they were first found at a Kmart).

Also on "clearance" are the POTP toys...

Meanwhile, this shelf strip was added, noting a price drop of some items - Studio Series Voyager & POTP Voyager (both now $45, from $49).

A single Lockdown... with several shelfwarming Berzerkers.

    And this kids t-shirt....

And at Coles Sunnybank.... Tiny Changers wave 2... 15 months after their release in other countries, and not expected in Australia.

    .

    .

And over in the cereal aisle, both sizes of Crunchy Nut Cornflakes with Bumblebee packs. (meanwhile at Woolies Sunnybank, they restocked their shelves in the last two days, with the older, non-Bumblebee packs)

Did Kmart Sunnybank have any other waves in addition to wave 3 Prime Masters?

    This weekend's travels...

Sunnybank Hills Kmart - had one Energon Igniter Power Optimus, which meant someone else alrady bought the new jet Shatter and Blitzwing.

Sunnynbak Hills Aldi - still had a fair few of the Transformers advent calendars.

Browns Plains Target - had the new wave of Energon Igniters Power figures (Shatter, Blitzwing, Optimus).

Browns Plains BigW - had one of the wave 2 Energon Igniter Power Plus Shatter car.

Browns Plains Kmart - had the three new exclusive items (Studio Series 2-pack, Bumblebee w/ cassettes, electronic Titan Changer Bumblebee).

It's really starting to look like a boring wall of yellow now because of the Bumblebee movie.

Man, Studio Series 25 Bumblebee is just a repackage of Bumblebee TLK Version 2 except with LESS paint. That's disappointing!

    Other photos from the weekend....

Coles Sunnybank Hills - Rescue Bots Flip Changers on clearance at half price... which means we probably won't see any more released here (there are another two waves out in America, and another wave was shown at SDCC this year).

A nice metallic cup at Zing Browns Plains. (the only Transformers toy they had there was a TF5 Berzerker)

BigW Browns Plains - Trading card game and DVDs in-stock.

It was interesting to see the two 1-steps Soundwaves sitting next to each other in BigW...

TArget Runaway Bay has Studio Series Ratchet SHadow Raider Wave (I left).
No new Cyberverse Warriors Wave 2
On the lookout for MISB Headmaster Highbrow, Takara or Hasbro. I'm sure I could make you a sweet deal!

Runaway Bay Aldi has both Optimus Prime and Bumblebee Cyber Comanders (about 10 or so of each), but quite a few people were going after Bumblebee so not sure how long it will last.
To clarify it was JUST the Cyber Commandefs, no Cyber Battalion.

Also while Optimus seemed to be a direct import, the Bumblebees has two white stickers on them. The first was generic legal on the base, and the second was on the back with a contact email for Hasbro Customer Service (AU, and NZ). So it would appear they were imported by Hasbro rather than sourced from Asia or South America directly.

If it works, I am hoping they pick up the Batallion series.

Optimus is frigging awesome, but comes with no blaster. He does have 5mm peg hands though

Is it the Movie flame version (wave 2) or plain red (wave 1) Optimus?
