New images of Stormshred and Thunderbomb.

I quite like Stormshred - the claws are awesome.

FansProject are the FREAKING KINGS of the 3rd party world!! They are awesome!

Does anyone know what is going on with the Crossfire repainted Causality figures? They are due in March but I am yet to see any pre-orders open.

I was wondering that myself a couple of nights ago. I think we will suddenly see some finalised photos and then preorders will go up for late March.

I would have liked to see Bombshell's iconic cerebral parasite thingy, but they both still look very cool. I love the Insecticons colours too, so I can't wait to see these guys in colour.

Wow. even more drool. I'm guessing the heads are based on how the G1 figures looked?

I haven't gone and double checked, but I know Kickback did have the big ears/antennae on the sides of his head and Bombshell had the grill style faceplate, I don't recall G1 Shrapnel's face that well but looking at the artwork it feels right.

So yeah, some liberties have been taken, like with most of the headsculpts on FPs stuff, but they are definitely G1ish.

While it looks like they've designed some more good converting figures, each is lacking what I'd consider key (probaby the key) defining elements of the Insecticons' robot modes. It seems really odd to me as it kinda ruins the homage. Are they worried about being sued? Perhaps you can convert them or arrange their weapons/accessories somehow to improve the look? The lack of colour combined with the more realistic insect modes make them look slightly more like their Deluxe Insecticon brothers at first glance.
