Weird considering how he was a massive pegwarmer. But then again, that may be why he's so rare -- few people bothered to purchase him from stores, thus leading to fewer numbers on the secondary market. Many earlier G1 toys may often fetch relatively cheaper prices because they were more popular, thus larger numbers of them exist on the aftermarket. Later G1 toys were probably manufactured in far fewer numbers too.

Eh... IMO one would be better off just spending the money on an MP Lambor, even off the secondary market or even from TRU. Still way better value than the non-transformable rubbish that is AM Sideswipe (although as AMs go, Sideswipe's pretty nice ).

He is pretty cool. After I spent the long time completing him, it'll be kinda sad to see him go.

It sort of gives you an idea of the generational change in the Voice Actor industry in the 80s to the 90s, with a lot of the 80s cartoons being voiced by the veterans of the industry and most are now gone or close to it... but just 10 years later with the Beast Wars cartoon, we've only lost one person so far (Cambell Lane, the voice of Rampage), because that new batch of Voice Actors that came in around then who are still around today, were all fairly young (20s-30s).

Also S. Marc Jordan, Onslaught's voice actor died in 2014.

On that list, Philip Clarke was the only one I didn't know about. The deadpan delivery of Dead Ends line:"Face it, we're doomed" is one of my favourite G1 moments...

    Thanks for that.
I didn't have him on my list, and I had Onslaught credited to someone who only did his voice in a single episode.

Yar I believe it was Steve Bulin who filled in Onslaught's lines in The Rebirth: Part 3.
Earlier Onslaught's opening line in FFOD: Part 1 sounds more like Terry "Wildrider" McGovern. Given the nature of the animation of FFOD it's quite possible the animators just drew entirely the wrong character rather than the wrong actor being cast.

Either way, yes, unfortunately this list will only get bigger. I was bummed about John Stephenson is particular (who I just looked up and by coincidence it was a year ago today he died) as Windcharger was favourite as a really young kid. Plus he was the last survivor of the original Flintstone's cast.
