What are "Rainchecks"? (It's to do with the weather, isn't it )
If an on sale item is out of stock a Raincheck means you can put your name down for the item and get if for the advertised price when they do get it back in stock. No rainchecks means you can't do this -- if they don't have it in store you can't get the sale price.

Meh. Doubt I'll be very active in this sale or the K-Mart one either. A pity really.

It's standard practice now, so Kmart, target and co can have a single larger sale item (like a trampoline) that 30 people come in for, they sell the one, obligating their "we had the advertised items, but sold out" and then hopefully the other 29 people will buy other items instead.

If their aim in the sale was to clear the shelves of Movie toys in preparation for Animated-they failed. There's still quite a few Deluxe and Voyager toys clogging the shelves (although, it has to be said, they did clear a bit of space-I helped with that )

At least this means that I can compare the two Voyager Megatrons to see which cybertronian mode looks worse.

They didn't have a sale on the Voyagers though.
