I highly recommend Transformers Generations or Transformers Generations Deluxe. I refer to them as the "Transformers Bible" as they cover everything from 1984-1995 (so all of G1 and G2) as well as Machine Wars.

It has lots of beautiful photographs of toys as well as a wealth of information (if you can read Japanese ).

Another one which is popular with G1 fans is the Cybertronian: The Unofficial Transformers Recognition Guide. The photography isn't as nice as Transformers Generations (Generations has beautifu professional photography whereas Cybertronian has amateur photography) -- although this guide is in English, which would be advantageous if you can't read Japanese. But the main advantage this book has is that it shows photographs of all the accessories too.

Having said that, you can access similar photos of most Transformer toys and their accessories (and variants) at TFU.info.

Perfect thanks Goktimus - I have a couple of guides but they are getting a bit old so need some new ones!

The book that Goki suggested is easily the best for pictures, but for people like me that can't read Japanese, I would suggest the 'Transformers: Identification And Price Guide' by Mark Bellomo. I have both of these books and they compliment each other nicely.

No idea, but he sorta looks like Movie-verse Dreadwing with a different head.

The TF wiki lists him as either Wingblazer, or Wingblazers partner.
I haven't read 'Last Stand', so don't know which is which.
