Default POTP wave 3 found in New Zealand

Wave 2 still hasn't arrived here or in most of the world and yet wave 3 Deluxes have now been found in New Zealand.

Apparently they also haven't seen wave 2 (which isn't surprising as they should be getting their stock from Hasbro Australia), so it doesn't look good for us if we missed wave 2.
Hopefully we did get wave 2 stock into the country but wave 3 got released first by accident.

I ordered the wave 2 Deluxes on Amazon America a couple weeks ago, and they arrived last week.
Now I'm glad I did, if we end up missing wave 2 here.

The unreliable nature of our release of waves here in the last 12 months makes it necessary once again, to import whatever I can (after a period of 12-18 months of buying more toys domestically than what I had imported from Amazon).

At the moment all five w2 Deluxes are sold out (from Amazon), and only took about a day to sell out.
If they show up again from a restock, I'll post up links in the Amazon topic (in the dealer/business listings section).

(even the Studio Series toys sold out fast, with only three of the eight wave one toys still in-stock by Amazon, after just 5 days)

    Concerning.

I'm 'would drive down the road to the shops to get them' keen for the Terrorcons, but I'm definitely not 'go out of my way to order them from the internet' keen.
I'm really just here for the free food and open bar.

Very weird. Are there distributions not also handled by Hasbro Australia.

Is this the first time Hasbro has skipped on an early wave of Transformers for retail?
And if so, did they redeem themselves by eventually releasing them in retail stores?
