i really dont like the PCC style connectors. they're very weak and ugly.
TFC Devastator (Hercules) while not perfect, the connectors are very solid and were hidden well.
Blast Off looks great! Vortex... not so much - the helicopter looks like some kind of fish/mosquito monstrosity.

Just to be different I far prefer Vortex to Blastoff. Blastoff just looks a little to skinny and movieesque to me, and is altmode to much like flying junk.
I prefer the fishcopter, at least it looks like something even if that is a fish with rotor blades. I just wish he was purple instead of red though.

Thanks for sharing the link! If this gestalt was "real", those connection points better be extremely strong.
I still think the Fansproject third party crossfire sets are better.

Cheers Kaiden, those pics are what my comments have been aimed at (I thought they'd already bee linked).
You see how horribly mis-transformed he is? - Then Hasbro gives the pics the "O-K" and then proceeds to photoshop the crap out of them!
Don't form your final opinions on these photos guys, wait until we've seen them properly transformed by someone with an IQ before you do so.
I myself still really like the looks of them and still very much want to purchase them.

Those shoulders look hideous.
The bots themselves look far too simple for my taste but it's undestandable given that they've got to combine.
I'm really just here for the free food and open bar.
