So the US gets this movie in August, and we have to wait till September, well thats just sad. So they want to release it a month later and make more money, good for them I guess they don't want to lose sales to Guardians of the Galaxy.

These studios never learn. If it's not a worldwide simultaneous release, you're just inviting people to download the movie instead. Do they not get it? It's called the 'world wide web' for a reason. Local distribution means nothing these days

I think people would have said the same thing 24 years ago, when I was that younger kid going to school holiday movies and the original TMNT movie came out and critics were going on about how it was too violent and a bad influence and unsuitable for kids.

I also can't believe how long ago that was.

With just preview screenings last weekend, TMNT is number one at the Aussie box office. Pretty good effort.

The more I've seen in trailers/ads etc the more I think it could be okay. Sure there's a Bay-filter over the top of the film, the noses and clothes are weird but the general forms are okay, and April is unlikely to be well served compared to her first film outing, but it still appears to be more consistent to the original properties than TF films.

I'm going to be checking it out as soon as I can and hope for the best.

I saw it a few weeks ago........internet....

It is better than I expected. But they did make a few changes to tmnt law im not happy about. Mirage studios or old tmnt toon law both ignored for new even more hard to believe one.
