Default Great TF T-Shirts at American Website - LOUSY Postage to Aus!

As some of you may be aware, the site www.welovefine.com has a range of Transformer T-Shirts, personally some of the coolest ones I have seen! However their postage to Australia makes no sense at all. Here is the email I sent off and the reply I got:

    My email to them:

    To whom it may concern,
My name is Trevor Hopkins and I was looking to purchase 2 Transformer T-Shirts. A large 'The Star Scream' and a large 'Lookout Mountain'.
When going through the checkout I noticed the following costs to have it shipped to where I live (Australia):

    $16.95 for 1 T-Shirt
    $47.95 for 2 T-Shirts

Why is it an extra $31.00 for 1 extra T-Shirt? Surely 2 can be posted almost as cheaply as one, the difference in weight and packaging is almost negligible. One would think an extra T-shirt would add maybe another $5 to the postage, not triple the overall postage cost.
If you could contact me regarding this it would be appreciated, as I would still like to purchase these T-shirts but cannot do so with these postage costs, even with the introductory 10% off the price of the items (which I do appreciate as a new customer).

    Their Reponse:
    Good morning Trevor,
Shipping to the Australia ranges from $16.95 for one shirt and up to $47.95 for two or more shirts. Please note the prices have been provided to us by USPS and is a flat rate fee based on the size of the box used to ship your order.
We are working on finding better rates and expect to have cheaper options in the near future.
Let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with. Have a great day!

Please feel free to contact this site with your own queries over the coming weeks. Maybe if they get contacted by enough Aussies they will get off their backsides and workout a proper postage deal.

I'd suggest they consider USPS First Class Mail International. should be less than $20US for at least a couple shirts.

Lookout Mountain looks pretty cool but too bad its only available on that dull coffee tee.
