Could just be that bay has a thing for Aussies, but, I see it as that we have better looking talent that the yanks do.

    Isn't that right Mr ED?

    Maybe she'll play Carly?

I like this quote on Seibertron:

"... I hope she does a better job of covering up the Australian accent."

Why should she be ashamed to be an Aussie?

Bay loves Aussie chicks?... Me too!

I love hearing the Aussie accent in films... I was watching the Mad Max trilogy the other day and it was so refreshing!

if they are getting someone who stars in Home and away they must want them for a small character or eye candy.

From what ive seen of that show, there is no acting, just dramatic looks and over the top unbelievable stories. And one of my teachers boyfriends was on the show-she would harp on about the supremacy of her...you know

I seem to recall seeing some ads for a storyline about a Summer Bay mine shaft collapse shortly after the media circus at Beaconsfield.

Or was that Neighbours? One of those crap aussie shows, anyway.

Bloody oath it was! And I stand by that statement. Maggie's accent in the first movie was bloody awful, in fact I find most Australian accents on US film to be a tad embarassing. They should throw in some good old fashioned lingo to go with the accent!
