In the last pic (blue background) it looks like the shield is stored under the V-Star.

I'd say 9 out of 10 times you'd be using the shield as a stand for the alt-mode. Though it would be sweet if it had somewhere to live, just for completeness sake.

On that topic, does the sword blade store anywhere? I can't remember.
