Default MMC Studio Ox MP Insecticons

Another major joins the MP Insecticon fray. This time it's Mastermind Creations with their Studio OX designs.

MMC, Bad Cube, love your stuff, but Fans Toys have my Insecticon $$$ so far...
Which brings us to where we are today...

I'm finding it hard to believe these transform. I'm sure they do but I still find it hard to believe. And I don't see any insect leg kibble.
Any figure that comes with swords demands wrist articulation.

There are some more pics on the OX facebook page. I must admit they look pretty good. Everything looks very well hidden. Quite impressive.

Not sure we really need another 3P insecticons. Maybe the scale will be different to the Badcube and Fanstoys versions.

Really wish MMC would do another combiner; Rex was so cool!

Amazing. I might stop waiting for TT versions and get these instead...

Yeah kickback's looking more like an action figure, but I dig these guys. My money is already with fanstoys, but these look sweet, I personally don't like BadCube's aesthetic at all so it's nice to see another good whack at these guys. Happy with my decison, just hoping FansToys' Kickback can look as good (or better, but not getting my hopes too high, greater chance of disappointment with your favourites).

these look pretty good but diverge from standard G1 style quite a bit, particularly Kickback. Not sure if I like it or not.

Honestly I'm not that fussed about these insecticon wars, form what I've seen all of the versions shown would be acceptable on my MP shelf. The Fanstoys version seems to be the most slavish to G1 so far, however Badcubes decision to releases a three pack means there will be a significant price difference which appeals a bit. I wonder how MMC will choose to release these guys?

personally I'm still more keen on ALL MMC's other projects.
