    Default Display Case Thread

So, last week three model ship display cases arrived from Hong Kong. Their mission - to display my growing 3 3/4 inch action figure collection.
I had tried using some business card holders in the past (see http://www.tfnzboard.transformersnew...142304#p142304) but wasnt happy with them.

As I had less Star Wars figures, I tried starting with them and this is the result

Again, not 100% happy, but its more to do with my requirement to use bluetak to hold up the figures in the display stand while I search for display stands.
I also have an issue with the case - there are two clips on the clear plastic that hook into the black base. On all three one of these clips refuses to let go without a massive fight and so changing the figures inside is going to be rather hard.

Why not get a case custom made? I had one made from Adelaide Plastics here in Adelaide, you just give them the detentions you want and they make it out of Perspex.

Heres the one they made for my 1/6 Metal Gear Solid Snake figures (took about 2 days to make)

And another one for my 1:1 Scale Brandon Lee / The Crow

Very nice display cases. I've thought about buying some as well but never got around to it. I wasn't actually looking for display cases but rather cheaper plastic fish tanks. I've seen a few collections using these and they look great.

They look awesome. How much did it cost shipped though. Shipping is usually the killer, though I did break down and buy one from one of the GI Joe sites to protect my Starscream shrine.
On the lookout for MISB Headmaster Highbrow, Takara or Hasbro. I'm sure I could make you a sweet deal!

Hey guys, any suggestions as to where I can buy some shelving?

Been putting it off for too long now, and the dust is killing me

that and my collection is rapidly growing.
