Even though there is no way to really value pre-production toys, I'd still say that AU$1300 for Tripredacus, is a bit much. There just isn't much demand for them to drive up prices... unless you are a dedicated collector of prototype toys, or you are very obsessed about that character/toy to want every version of it, including pre-production versions.
Ah, I should have clicked on the seller's other items. I was vaguely using a valuation of approx. $700 per BW-era prototype, which is actually based off the same guy's previous listings for Waspinator/Dinobot (some time last year). I have a bit of an irrational obsession with BW as it brought my interest back - the first time when I first worked out how to save/budget for the future; and a second time when I first worked out how to buy stuff from overseas on eBay and finding all the Japanese BW variations.

These things are going to go for a mint!
Forgot about these! Let's see what they went for:

    Lot 1 went for US$1,825; Lot 2 for US$2,650; Lot 3 for US$2,650; and Lot 4 for US$3,550!

Wish I had pockets that deep!

Has the gall to ask for $30 for shipping! But I suppose he's inflated that cost like that of the figure!

Heh, he also mentions about incoming KOs in the description. Guess he really means buy it at this overly inflated price before his potential market goes the KO route...

Stephen Baskerville's recreation of US#70's cover.

Although Baskerville inked Wildman's interior comic art during G1, he never inked any of his US covers, so this is what Baskerville describes as a "What If?" cover.

Look at all those pages of Regeneration One being unsold. If only that was a better comic, because I don't see anyone needing to own a page of Grimlock using a magic key to switch Perceptor to evil mode

Wow a custom already using the MP-Ramjet as the base. Looks nice though.
