I guess I only recently got into comics as I've
only been reading them for about 12/14 months.

I started out reading strictly Transformers titles...
but I eventually became interested in DC & Marvel.

Like many comic readers...I'm very excited about
DCs New 52...and while I'm sad to see Power Girl
and Zatanna loose their ongoing series...the new
Swamp Thing & Animal Man titles more than make
up for it.

Speaking of which...did anyone else here Pick up
Animal Man?

Oh...and I think the current Action Comics storyline
is set 15 years before the other titles and 10 years
before Justice League #1...I think?

Thanks gantz...but most of that credit must go to the owner of
my local comic book store.

He's recommended so many great titles and TPBs to me...such as
The Dark Knight Returns, Daredevil: Born Again and Rick Veitch's The One.

I've also read some old Jack Kirby stuff like The Demon and Kamandi as
well as some old school Defenders...all of which have been great.

I also just finished my Hardcover collection of the Shadowland event
and DCs Flashpoint...which was awesome...at least to me...being kind
of new to all this.

I've also been lucky to make some new friends who come over for
a read and a weekly discussion about certain titles.

Comics have become a really big part of my life...and truth be told
I can't really say why...I guess I just enjoy a good story.
