Thumbs up Toy Review - Generations Warpath

Received this guy yesterday from Robotkingdom and must say that I was quite surprised how small he is in alt mode - he's about the same size as HFTD/AA Hailstorm/Mindset in alt mode.

I found the transformation on him quite clever and intuitive - I especially love how his head pops up when you push his tank turret in.

In bot mode, he's still on the 'smallish' side but still quite reasonable next to other deluxe figures - he was a Minibot in G1 after all.

He's well articulated and quite easy to get into various poses for display value - however his ankle does lack a fair degree of movement due to the transformation sequence.

The only thing I dislike about him is the ridiculous length of his shoulder missile, but this is easily rectified by applying a pair of side cutters to it.

Seeing that he's on the tail end of the Generations series and may not even get launched here, he's a definite must buy at any price.

Even if you have to mail order him (that's if you can find an online retailer that has stock), buy it!

    Overall, 9 out of 10

    I also love this guy

    + Colour is spot on
    + Cool yet simple transformation
    + Robot Mode (K4-90W)
    + Head Mold
    + Roller tread feet (ZOW-333)
    + Great articulation

    - Shoulder weapons should've use clip on system and been removable
    - Alt mode small H-tank
    - Back of tank suffers from TFA:Blurr syndrome
    - Popeye forearms

    Overall 9/10

Maybe a slight exaggeration but I just feel he is missing something on the rear end of his alt mode.

I was being a bit picky. I love the mold and character. I could've also said I wished his head flap cover folded all the way back in robot mold

It also doesn't really bother me as he will be staying in bot mode forever

He's not Warpath unless his feet are joined together in one solid block

I wonder if the DOTM toy will be a retooled version of this guy. At least that way there will be some hope of getting him locally.

I've taken some size comparison pics for anyone interested:

    Bot mode Vs Universe Starscream
    Alt mode Vs Henkei Silverstreak
