    Default Review: 3rd Party Photron

This Photron is a 3rd party production. The scale to a real digital camera is about 3/4.

About the material use: The plastic is quite crappy. My suggestion: Do not play it too often, otherwise, you would break it. It's better than KO, and it's still quite not up to the normal standard.

Camera mode: Basically it looks really nice. I mean, the designer did clone a real digital camera when making this toy. It is very detailed.

Robot mode: Looks awesome. Greatly scaled (long over-long leg or arms), and it is reasonably easy to transform. I would rate a level 3 for the transformation. The lens has lights on it as you can see and the overall feeling of the robot mode is very much like G1, well, not exactly the same, but close.

Conclusion: This figure RRP is about $80 Aud. plus shipping you are looking at around $100. Is it worthy? I would say it's a good collection. Not a must have, but defiantly worth having it. It's quite fun.

Yeah I can't say that Reflector ever apealed to me, so any official/3rd party version will not get any space in collection.

This does seem to have a decent looking alt mode though but its a pity about the join running though the centre of the lens, kinda ruins the authentic look of it.

Doesn't really appeal to me- might be the cartoony factor missing or the fact that it isn't that accurate a portrayal of reflector. Looks alright though.

The design does look nice and I really do like the attempt at making a realistic camera. Unfortunately it doesn't do it for me for some reason and still prefer the more G1 faithful and accessory plentiful PE set.

I agreed with most of you. I bought it all because of the camera mode. It truely realistic.
