JP Battle Command Optimus
This figure was first revealed some time ago as being part of the third wave of Movie toys to come out in Japan in July, as part of the "gimmick" line (noted as LA instead of AD).
LA-01 is the Battle Command Optimus, which appears to be a simpler conversion figure, but doesn't seem to fit into either US gimmick category of Power Battler or One-step.
The figure comes with a convertible trailer, that forms a backpack/wings for Optimus... that looks more like him tied to a torture rack.
The trailer is big enough to carry a One-Step car (they use LA-03 Bumblebee as an example - but does not come with Optimus).
Pricing is noted as 6480yen, which would be about AU$70.
Promo images scanned from a Japanese magazine can be seen here.

Hmm looks like someone stuck some aluminium siding to his back while he wasn't looking...

I pre-orded this from RK about a fortnight ago thinking it'd be the only figure that would look screen accurate based on its scans.
Then the FuRyu Real Figure version is announced.

Official images from Amazon Japan... with a much larger wingspan than I was hoping.
The Optimus toy looks to be a simple changer (a new mould for Japan), so the backpack should be there to make it a better toy.
