I like him a lot. Is a redecoed Prime with a new head the right way to go? Possibly not, but it's a fun mold that looks great in these colours.

So it depends how attached you are to the idea of a flawless G1 Huffer.

Here's my quick look at the new Combiner Wars Huffer. Not too bad overall, but not as nostalgic as other Legends figures.

I'm glad of the new head sculpt - looking at it is evocative of Huffer from the cartoons (perhaps more than the original toy) and they got the colour scheme fairly right. In vehicle mode, the feet at the end sticking up helps convey a 'Huffer' feel, however overall the figure still just screams 'redeco Prime' to me with the set of his chest and the lack of a canopy over the top of his head. I think this will be even more evident when Pipes is released, as Pipes had the big backpack behind him and his new toy will have naught in that regard.

Worth grabbing for the relatively cheap price, but I still like PCC Huffer as a toy better.

This repaint is a bit too lazy. Still waiting for a definitive CHUG Huffer.
