Most likely they will. But you have to be quick to find out about it. Faith No More had a side show that sold out in 7 mins. And I didn't even know about it.

That's what I use to do. When Soulfly came here for the BDO in Jan 1999, I opted to go to their show at Coogee Bay Hotel instead. It was a lot better than going to the festival and having to endure all those other acts.

I just googled the year to make sure I got it right and found out they're actually going to be here next month.

I wouldn't have minded going, but I don't have the funds. Oh and for those that don't know, City Of Fire is Burton C Bells side project with Byron Stroud from Fear Factory. Can't say I have heard their stuff though

The Sydney line-up looks to be HUGE with Faith No More, Trivium, Meshuggah, and even Glassjaw (always wondered what happened to them).

I propose a fan meet at Eastern Creek on the 21st of Feb

The important question is when and how to get tickets. From the site it says that member tickets go on sale Wednesday 18 August 9am for Sydney, while for the rest of us it's Thursday 26.

Damn good line up, I'm not a massive metal fan, but I recognise and like a hell of alot of those bands, and there are another half dozen that have been recommended to me that I have yet to hear.

Not sure if I'll go, I always manage to miss my favourite bands at these festival style concerts, but having all these bands in Australia in Feb means lots of other individual concerts to go to...
Looking For: Wreckers Saga TPB Collection (with Requiem)
