$100 US for 3 insecticons is a bit rich. Hopefully they turn up here and can be picked up in a sale.

The G1 Insecticons are about 100USD
So... at retail they're twice the price that the Toys 'R' Us and TFC reissues still sell for on eBay.

I have enough Insecticons (G1, TFC, eHobby clones), but I'd definitely grab those Coneheads^Year 2 Seekers!

I have the Takara TFC Insecticons and Hasbro reissue Dirge, but this new coneheads pack is an insta-buy!

The Tformers article suggests that the classic names are returning, but Hasbro only re-secured "Bombshell"... they are still not able or willing to use Shrapnel (as seen on the box photos).

I saw the price-tag on the front of the box, and the toystore in the background, so expected that it was a sighting somewhere... flying in under the radar.

Not surprising, being "Platinum Edition" label. Disappointing though, as I probably would have bought them just for the display box if they were US$50-60, despite appearing to be identical to their Gen1 colours.

If the Platinum Edition label is an ongoing thing, I would expect to see most of them showing up at Myer here... only to purchase on sale of course.

The insecticons look awesome. If they're on sale or there's a 20% coupon or something (if they're at TRU), I'll pick them up. If the Coneheads are similarly priced, I'll get them as well.

I can't believe that after years of looking for a decent priced Thrust, I finally give in and buy an almost complete Thrust just to find out a few days later that a 3-pack reissue is coming out... oh the timing...

Ordinarily wouldn't be interested but that box is really impressive. Might be nice to have a set to stay sealed if the price is right.
