Default 30th Anniversary figurine & 3D puzzle series

No images yet, but it looks like in a couple months there will be a new series of figurines, each with a piece of a 3D puzzle, and the first series celebrates the 30th Anniversary (suggesting that this is a long-term venture).
No idea on what the 3D puzzle forms, but I'm hoping it is a diorama or city-base scene from one of the eras being represented here.

So far listed at Entertainment Earth is wave one, as...

    Single packs
    - 15 different figurines from Gen1, TFPrime, & Movies.

3-packs - 3 figures of the same character, from each of the eras of Gen1, TFPrime & Movies.

5-packs - 5 different characters from one particular era.

    The 15 Single pack characters:
    Optimus Prime (Generation 1)
    Optimus Prime (Prime)
    Optimus Prime (Movie)
    Megatron (Generation 1)
    Megatron (Prime)
    Megatron (Movie)
    Starscream (Generation 1)
    Starscream (Prime)
    Starscream (Movie)
    Soundwave (Generation 1)
    Ratchet (Generation 1)
    Ratchet (Prime)
    Ratchet (Movie)
    Bulkhead (Prime)
    Sentinel (Movie)

The 3-pack characters (each pack has a Gen1, TFPrime & Movie version):
    Optimus Prime
    Megatron
    Starscream
    Ratchet

The 5-pack themes (different characters from each themed era):
    Generation 1
    Prime
    Movie

Just looking on TFW to see if it had been posted there yet, and it is noted as being a licensed figurine series to a company called "Goldie", not by Hasbro. That makes them merchandise like Loyal Subjects figurines.

    Wonder what they'll look like.

I hope the 3D puzzle pieces will be from their own eras ie: G1 era and it's own puzzle, movie era and it's own puzzle, etc... I don't want them all just to get the puzzle when only the G1 characters interest me.

Guess it won't really matter if I don't like how they look

Edit: Seems you need to buy them all to get the 3D puzzle, which isn't a diorama but a puzzle of one of the characters (according to what seibertron is reporting). Just disappointing.

I think these are the things that were just shown off at the UK Toyfair. If so, we now have a good look at these licensed figurines. I can't see what the 3D puzzle is, so perhaps it is just a regular 2D puzzle with a 3D image?

Looks like they are being released in the UK by Paladone, and America by Goldie. (they could be the same company)

Re the 3D puzzle; Each figure comes with a lenticular motion card that assemble to make those pic of G1 Prime or G1 Megatron (with 84 background) that are on display in the Seibertron.com pics.

    Yay!! Transformers Squinkies??

With the popularity of mini figures these days I'm sure they'll all sell well.

Well that's a let down. I was hoping "3D puzzle" meant one of those puzzle buildings that are actually called "3D puzzles".... not a mere 2D flat puzzle with a lenticular picture on it.

(pics Paulbot is referring to - with movie spoilers)
