I wonder if that means Madman have lost the license, or they just don't want to do the really kiddie Transformers series.

What do you mean? Madman Entertainment never licensed the latest series, and each series would be a separate license.

They certainly are pricey... about $3.30 an ep. Bitey, bitey, bite, bite!

Madman Entertainment are releasing Transformers: Prime - Season 2 on Blu-Ray on 14th October 2015:
    Transformers: Prime - Season 2 (Blu-Ray)

I really wonder why Madman Entertainment bothered at this late stage, especially after stating they had no plans for further Blu-Ray releases.

    DAMNIT,
after I asked them multiple times and always either getting no answer or the answer being no, I now have the whole series on Blue-Ray but it's Region 1 encoded (except for region 1 which I bought here the week it was released) and I'm yet to unlock my Blu-ray player.

I had given up on watching TFPrime so am happy to hear season 2 is coming out on Bluray and hope they'll complete the set now.

Damit! I ripped the whole Region A set and still can't get it to play on my TV, now Madman have finally decided to put out the Blu-ray! I better be able to pick them up cheap!
I have a list of all G1 characters that have been released in CHUG form. You can find it here. Please feel free to let me know if I got anything wrong so I can fix it.

Well I got season 2. Such hard workmanship. Both discs just repeat the trailers or the madman and hasbro logos. Tried what I could to get past them. No avail. Sigh.
