i know its a long shot, but has anyone seen, or know of any where that sells the Bandai Tamashii Soul spec evangelions? i think unit 00(blue ) was XS-09 and unit 02 was XS-08 im really trying to hunt these up, but im not willing to pay $400 on ebay for unit 02

Last time I checked, Hobby Dream on George St (Capitol Square) has XS-13 (Unit One from Evangelion 2.0). I can't remember the exact price, but it should be less than $150. They're the only place in Sydney that I know for a fact have them in stock.

I generally get my Evas online, though - I've seen a few XS-09s (Unit Zero in blue) on eBay. There's also XS-03 (Unit One from Evangelion 1.0) and XS-04 (Unit Zero from Evangelion 1.0).

XS-01 (Unit One from the original series) has been reported as having easily broken hip joints, something which was corrected in later Evas, including a reissue of XS-01 (XS-01R). If you're not fussed about getting the Rebuild version as opposed to the original version, I recommend XS-03 - it has an awesome Eva-sized gatling gun!

I have the XS-13. Excellent figure. The only thing i'll advise you on with Hobby Dream, i know for a fact some of their revoltechs and figmas are fake, i dont know about their eva stuff or the gundam kits. Hobbyco also have the Eva model kits as well. I think ill get XS-09 off of Ebay

I can't help but wonder how XS-08 managed to get as rare as it did - Unit Zero and Unit One from the same line are still relatively easy to find.

thanks mate, ive seen plamoya and the bottom links, no luck there but i think ill see if i can ship one to my girens in US (amazon wont ship toys to AUS) and see if my friend can ship it on for me, also in other Eva news, the robot damashii Unit 02 beast has been announced. will be out later this year.

No announcements (sorry!) - I just figured (and am hopeful) that it would released sooner or later, given that other Evas from Rebuild have been done, in which case I'd definitely be up for it. It won't be XS-14 or XS-15, though:

I love how they put mari in that film as an entirely new, fresh character, but she fits in so well. Za beasto is awsome. I'm probably going to get a figma Mari and a robot damashi beast.

As for when will we see unit 06? well considering how long it will be before 3.0 is released and that according to the mayans the world is meant to end in 2012 (i like to think of it as third impact =]) probably never!! Although i thought there was a unit 06 revoltech released in very limited numbers for a toy festival, maybe wonderfest or whatever it was? i'll investigave further.
