    The left hand side of the box that frames around the window, has slightly rounded internal edges rather than the sharp square edges of the original release. That's the best way I know how to tell-although I'm sure there are other indicators too

    Speaking of gold, here's an almost complete set of many but not all of Gold Classics Reissue Transformers (most misb,mosc). Protectibots, combaticons, triple changers, Optimus Prime. Worth clicking it just to see the pictures, even if its too rich for your blood.
    On the lookout for MISB Headmaster Highbrow, Takara or Hasbro. I'm sure I could make you a sweet deal!

    If that is a complete collection, it certainly eliminates any doubt about what was and what wasn't released in gold packaging.
