Not that I'm looking, just curious how you can tell it's the 90's reissue?

The left hand side of the box that frames around the window, has slightly rounded internal edges rather than the sharp square edges of the original release. That's the best way I know how to tell-although I'm sure there are other indicators too

shortened manufacturers blurb on the back
rub sign was introduced in 1985
the assortment number is different to the original

rounded corners on the edge of the window, and ages 7up on the bottom left front of box... an 80's one has square corners and says 5up

Speaking of gold, here's an almost complete set of many but not all of Gold Classics Reissue Transformers (most misb,mosc). Protectibots, combaticons, triple changers, Optimus Prime. Worth clicking it just to see the pictures, even if its too rich for your blood.

If that is a complete collection, it certainly eliminates any doubt about what was and what wasn't released in gold packaging.
