    From previous experience, is there any chance of it being sold as a stand alone figure down the track? Maybe for less than $150.

    RobotKingdom is doing it for $149 with the Blu-Ray.

    Nah. Past DVD exclusive toys in Japan haven't been released on their own... but they have seen massive discounts later on Amazon Japan.

    This has been released now, and some early images of what the packaging looks like can be seen here.
    In-hand images of the actual toy out off packaging are sure to come soon.

    The toy is officially called "Hound army camo version".

    I soooo badly want one but I can not justify the cost.

    I may have to paint the guns on mine and get the reprolabels. Anyone know the best way to paint them?

    The discounting has started. 25% off at the moment, but that is still AU$100.

    It needs to get well below 50% before I'll bite.

    Now down to 30% off... but with the exchange rate dropping in that time, it still equates to about AU$100.
