Gives us a better look at that battery-holder thing... The pile-drivers appear to have lids, maybe to store the guns...

That mystery piece looks like it has a clip and 2 small pegs. Maybe they attach to Soundwave...
Which brings us to where we are today...

The piledriver lids are probably just so you can sl ide them over the arms?

Sooooo irritated I spent a small fortune on G1 Fort Max earlier this year and now they are re-releasing him. Oh well, at least I can say that I have the original.

Gotta hate that. Back in 2001 or so I dropped $360 on Landcross (the three "double" robots, not the giftset). About seven years later a Sydney based online store had the set of Multiforce on clearance for $20 for all six.

But hey, we know we got the originals

    Eagerly waiting for Masterpiece Meister

I wonder how much Fort Max is going to cost. With shipping he wont be a cheap purchase from Japan or Hong Kong. Still, tempted by him.

Ultra Magnus looks good as well

The toy should cost approx. $280~290*, and I'd expect postage to be about $100. So I'm personally aiming to save up $400 for the toy plus shipping. That's what Brave Maximus ended up costing me too ($300 for toy + $100 for shipping). Postage might cost less than that, because I got my Brave Max from BBTS so IIRC it was shipped from the US. Postage directly from Japan ought to be cheaper (I hope). But I'm gonna save up $100 for postage to err on the side of caution (better to overprepare than underprepare ).

    HLJ are charging 23840JPY ($288)
    Amiami are charging 23400JPY ($283)
Amazon JP is giving a 31% earlybird discount, so they're charging 21457JPY ($278)

AE at $250 is the cheapest I know of. Shipping is about $100.
