THS-02B Black G1 Convoy reissue by Hasbro Asia
This is another random unexpected reissue.
According to BBTS, the Ehobby Black Gen1 Convoy (Optimus) THS (Transformers Hybrid Series), is being re-released next month, with some minor differences.
Their price is US$150, but should be a bit less from Asian sources, this figure was originally released in 2007, as a limited exclusive from Ehobby... allowing people who had the regular version of THS-02 Convoy to be able to make a Gen2 Optimus with the black trailer and missile launchers that came with this version.
Note that there were only ever two THS figures (Galaxy Convoy and Gen1 Convoy) with the Gen1 Convoy done in two colour versions. This new release of the Black version will apparently have some gold bits added to the limbs, to differentiate it from the first version.
And for those who are unfamiliar with THS figures, they are small versions of the original toys, that have extra detailing, and extra swap-out accessories (like hands and heads - which you can see on either of the two links above).
Not sure why this was chosen by Hasbro Asia instead of the regular colour version, but it could be something different in people's collections.
(and I'd only just bought the black version 4 months ago... for a hefty amount)
