    Default combiner wars Detritus

    Obvious repaint is obvious.

Paint rub isn't too bad, except on the ball-jointed shoulders

I might try some day-time photos later for better contrast.

    EDIT: and here it is

Really loving your colour choices. Those shades look great, the contrast is really nice. Almost impossibly to keep the ball jointed shoulders from scratching - I would suggest using pieces from Swindle, but that's a whole other figure to sacrifice for the custom.

    Fantastic work!

It may not work in this instance, but I use a sharpie on ball joints. The swindle part swap sounds ideal.

Good job, would've made a great Botcon toy. We can only hope Takara make one down the track.

I deally, you could use some parts from Swindle, and some from hound ( ?) be cool if they had slightly different shoulders, which could add to the Junkion parts thing for some nice asymmetry going on, yet still being able to retain the transformation.

That head and chest look great. I have never noticed the detail before this repaint so your colour choices are spot on.

Nice job! Will you be adding his goatee?

Although for some reason he's always clean shaven on his official card art...

    But the toy is goatee'd

Perhaps it was deliberately done to make a 'reverse Wreck-Gar' situation, since G1 Wreck Gar is bearded in canon but beardless on the toy.
