Default New head: leader class Thunderwing

First up, I'm not happy with the head. It was the only appropriately sized one I could find in my spare parts box. I've been going over ideas with MBot so watch for updates. EDIT: see below!

It's a repaint of Sky Shadow. The repaint highlights his stomach abs. I'm happy with the jet and tank modes (although it looks a bit like Overlord's tank.

Forgot to add: the chest pieces comes from a deluxe Thunderwing.

Ummm, is that a repainted Optimus Primal head that has been attached?

This makes more sense than Sky Shadow and I was wondering how this mold would look in silver.

you really do make me wonder if this is an intended repaint for Hasbro down the line. It fits too well.

thanks to the mighty Mbot and his casting skills, I've replaced the head with a Megatronus head!

The horn helmets were ground down and I added a crest. For the neck mount, I drilled a hole in a Titan Master head and inserted a screw. I cut the screw head off, drilled a hole in the base of the Megatronus head and inserted the screw.

I could not figure out how to get the base figure's helmet off in a non-destructive way, so I used my soldering gun to melt it off. I love the smell of melting plastic in the morning.

It's much better than Hulk in a helmet.

This mold was made for a thunderwing imo...

I must be becoming familiar with your work, when I saw the thread title I had an inkling you had used Sky Shadow

Lovely work as always mate, especially on the chest and jet

Oh and good work collaborating with M-Bot on that great head!

Love what you’ve done with the head. Great job!

Thanks also to CHILENO20 for loaning me the Galvatronus head for casting.
