I saw the other day that it was already in stock at BBTS, so I assumed it must have already been released in Asia. But I'm thinking that they must have gotten an exclusive early release, as I haven't seen other sites with it yet.

Yeah, I thought that was rather odd. Pity that hasn't happened with their stock of Generation Arcee figures...

I reported yahobby are selling them loose at $124.00 US

Loose ones aren't through official sources (they are usually from factory workers, who seem to be allowed to take home the excess or damaged stock), so can't be used as a guide for their official release date.

I just got a shipping notice from the person I pre-ordered it from on ebay (who is in HK)... so maybe it was released by Hasbro HK this week.

Now to see if it gets spotted by customs on its arrival into the country.
