Default Hasbro Masterpiece Bumblebee confirmed & out in Canada

The rumoured Hasbro release of Masterpiece Bumblebee has suddenly shown up in Canada, without any warning or promotion from Hasbro.

It is noted as MP-08 and had Spike included, but is being sold for C$120, which means if it comes here, it is likely to be AU$130-150 range like the previous Autobot car (Bluestreak).

If the image on the front is the actual toy, it looks to be a straight reproduction of the Japanese version, with no changes (like Bluestreak). With no extra effort put into making it any different, and no mention of Masterpiece toys from Hasbro since middle of last year, maybe this is the last of the Hasbro Masterpiece toys.

It has a mis-transformed Bumblebee on the front of the box (the front of the car shouldn't be covering the crotch).

Apparently is still listed as $US65 in the TRU system in America, so hopefully it doesn't inflate all the way up to $150 locally for those that don't have this figure.

    /extreme optimism.

Almost guarantees it'll be marked up at Oz TRU stores. Original TT Bumblebee isn't hard to find for a reasonable price. There are no differences in the Hasbro release, so it seems like a figure for completionists.

I fear this will turn out to be a shelf-warmer....
