That's the one at the Brisbane Supanova in November (you can even see the TFIdownunder stall in one of the photos).

I don't think it will sell at that price... or probably even at a tenth of that.

It might have been iconic for about 5 years (2007-2012), but it is already outdated thanks to the fourth movie... and realistically, the truck is more valuable as a working/hauling truck, than as a display item, especially in this country.

(it could make some money doing the convention circuit in America for a couple years, but here we don't have enough applicable conventions - and after a couple years, the TF4 truck and even the Gen1 truck would overtake this one in terms of interest and photo opportunities)

I've seen on some of those dealer/auction/pawn shows, that a customised vehicle is rarely worth more than the cost of the vehicle itself. Because in the end, it needs to have a return to its investment, or be used as a regular vehicle (and valued as such).

Personally, I'd spend my money creating/buying/customising Gen1 vehicles, as they are the most iconic, and keep being re-homaged as toys over and over, so never get forgotten by fans and general public.

Does it transform? I hate Transformers that don't transform?
