You're all nuts, they look great.
Can't get my head around the unusual colour choices. Each to their own.
I just like the fact that they aren't in slavish G1 toy or cartoon colours. But I wish they were the Generations molds instead.
The Blitzwing I can live with, as the two colours are close to Thrust to be familiar enough to not clash. But for Astrotrain.... there is no backstory or Hasbro employee that could possibly justify that shuttle mode, or the colours in general.
Even the Hasbro website I linked above didn't give an explanation beyond the basics, so I doubt that the back of the box will say anything other than Gen1 character traits.
A question for BotCon I think.
It's Flywheels and Machtackle
For some reason in America, the two Triplechangers are cheaper than the three small Insecticons.
The Insecticons were US$80, while the Triplechanger pack is US$66.
I wonder why the Insecticons were so expensive, as the Triplechanger pack is an acceptable price for two vintage Deluxe sized toys. (while the Insecticons were like three Commander/Legends class, which are not worth that price)
