I was just about to mention that actually. I noticed your photo in this thread is the only one like that and it really helps when those smaller left and right cape bits (bits with the headlights) are stretched right out. I think that's how it's spose to be but the instructions don't really show it well.

I find the instructions are just a general, this is how you 87.3% transform a transformer. Main thing is, it adds to us getting to play with them and see if we can work out a better way

I'm pretty satisfied with this one. The cape concept makes a virtue out of the shellformer aspect, and if it doesn't appeal to you then the rubber bits can just be folded inside out of the way. Simple to transform to car mode once you get the hang of the elbows, which can be tricky at first as discussed by others. The very bright green won't appeal to everyone but I dig it.
