Default Masterpiece Lambor - KO versions?

    Hi guys,

Does anyone know how to identify a KO Lambor? I've got a couple of Lambors from when (Hasbro Asia?) did a second run (prior to the recent re-issue)

I've found a couple of threads on other boards that comment on the eye shape, but I wondered if anyone here at any suggestions as to ensuring (without checking the boxes now in storage!) whether mine are legit second run or KO?

    Any help would be appreciated!

Rocketpuncharmy has a very detailed article on the differences:

Thanks - but it doesn't help me out unfortunately...

Do you know of any changes between the original and reissue (not the current September 2015 reissue) of MP-12? Just having difficulty trying to figure out if it's KO or not. The eyes are the only thing that are confusing me.

Does anyone know which face(s) were used with which version of the MP-12 mold (ie: Tigertrack, Red Alert, etc)?

    Thanks!

Okay, so a quiet afternoon at work has managed to resolve this concern!

    http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transf...reissue-2.html

The first release (and the latest reissue) use the Sideswipe face, while the release from ~March 2014 used the Red Alert face.

Ah well, one more to get at some point...

Considering that TakaraTOMY and (and Hasbro AP) are reissuing MP12, I'd say it'd be a safer bet to just the reissue. That way at least you're sure that you're getting a legit toy. Having seen the reissue in hand and compared it with the original, I can tell you that the reissue is identical to the original. Or you can hop on my Sales Thread where I'm selling my original MP12 </shameless.plug>
