    Default Transformers Animated Star Convoy!

    ...or Optimus Magnus

Voyager Optimus head on an Ultra Magnus body. No matter what I did I couldn't prise Ultra Magnus' chest apart so I had to glue the head on.

I did lose one of the ratchet pieces in his waist but removing the guns seems to have avoided any balance issues.

I spraypainted the hammer clear red and gave him a pointy finger.

    Great job

BTW next time you loose a part, DM me I might be able to print up a new part depending on what it is.

Thanks... it was a small part that goes near a ratchet, it may have been too small/thin to be viable but I will keep your kind offer in mind

Got my hands on a junker Magnus and I was reading the custom TFA Roadbuster thread and apparently you need to knock the pins out on the hip panels to split the torso*

    * I'm going to assume you tried this already.

    Hi
Thank you for trying to help. As you guessed I had taken those out. It was the right side of his chest that refused to split.
I suspect the battery compartment was glued to the interior and declined to break apart.

Actually, that's really useful information for me when I get to customising an Animated Magnus that I got from ebay last week.
