    Default voyager Thunderwing

Do you know how many colour schemes there are for Thunderwing?
There's the G1 and Generations toys, then the IDW and Dreamwave versions, and there's at least three versions in the Marvel comics....
So in the end I gave up and made my own scheme up.
It's a Universe Jetfire with a Generations Thunderwing head.
His chest ribbing is cut-up pieces of a pipe from a Batman & Robin Bane movie figure.

I'm working on a way to incorporate Jetfire's boosters into an 'ultra mode'.

    Head's too small

Just kidding. Looks great. And a great use of the green ribbing. Like how his shoulders incorporate into jet mode

I've always had the view that a Thunderwing toy has to be voyager class or greater and so it's good to see this one.

I figure that deluxe thunderwing is the perfect size when yuo line it up with legends-scale figures

This is a great idea, and done perfectly! I think you may be the first to do this. If I wasn't turning mine into Dai Atlas i'd give it a go. Bravo (or is that an Alpha Bravo?)

It's got some sort of secondary ultra mode!

This was before I had finished painting up the fast pack. His guns plug into his fists and the gaps in his forearms. It helps hide the arms.

No real change for robot mode. I got lucky that the guns managed to fit inbetween the shoulder spikes.
