    Default Brickvention

So for those in Melbourne 'Brickvention' is on this weekend, "australia's premier fan run convention". I was thinking of heading down tomorrow but it seems to be sold out! Popular stuff... did anyone go today or has anyone been to similar things before?

I have tickets for tomorrow. I have been many times, and it is quite impressive.

I haven't been to Brickvention in years since the last one I went to was underwhelming. Was pleasantly surprised with the quality of displays this time around.

There was a Transformers display which I took horrible photos of. No amount of automatic image stabilisation can compensate for carrying a toddler in the other arm.

We had a chat to that guy. All of them actually transform. He is working on a better Bumblebee as that is the one most people ask about.

He is also working on a Megatron the same size as that tall Optimus.

The Constructicons can form Devastator but he said it is really top heavy.

I went this year and dragged my GF along hehe. It was good, I think though last year there were more impressive displays. Transformers one was cool!

If anyone is heading down to this down Victoria way and they have the Sodor trains (Thomas the tank engine) locomotives on display, could anyone get me some close up shots of Thomas, Annie and Clarabel (Thomas’s carriages) and any trucks from all different angles please?

Thomas pics from the sides and back in particular would be greatly appreciated, Ryan Evans has the best Lego Thomas our there but I never can find good

Was he selling instructions at all? That Megatron looks mighty impressive.
