The SNES version of Mortal Kombat is terrible. It didn't sell as well the Megadrive version? I'm not surprised!

I wouldn't call it terrible; far from it. It actually had graphics and sound far superior to the Megadrive version so it wins in that respect. The only differences were the absence of blood and it played a little differently e.g. harder to uppercut leaping opponents.

    Cheers liege

Similar to the one Optics bought but 4 inch scale with the same level of articulation. Sub-Zero is vintage.

Hey 5FDP are you going to get the Retro Cyber Ninjas pack as well?

Highly unlikely unless someone is feeling generous I was a fan of Sektor back in MK3 (my character of choice), but I'm not really a fan of the cyber ninjas.

First post has been updated with some new items.

    • MK9 Scorpion & Sub-Zero Bookends
    • MK9 Scorpion Bobblehead
    • MK Plug & Play
    • MK Shaolin Monks PS2 Game and Guide

Some of these were recent acquisitions; some I managed to finally dig out of the cupboard. Watch this space as there is more MK goodness to come!

    Awesome additions man!

I actually remember those Kollector Kards from back in the day, do they incorporate the movie too? - I'm sure the ones I remember seeing had them too.
(Maybe they were a separate set? )

    Thanks Hursti.

Yeah, the movie cards are a separate set. The ones I have are solely based on the first game. They're a mix of in-game screen shots and comic book art.

Ah!, thought that might've been the case.
They do look really cool those game cards though... It's really making me consider tracking down a set.
