The first release was an all white (Ultra Magnus) version, but now up is a properly coloured Optimus/Convoy with trailer, for the Apple Ipod.
To be released in Japan on Mar 27, 2008 priced at 15,000 Yen (about AU$160).

I'd say it's a steep price, but basic iPOD docks go for similar prices anyway...

My problem is I don't like iPods to begin with. Very nice. Was the Encore that good? I may have to chase it down? I've always been partial to getting the TFC version

STL: afaik the Encore was like the other reissues - the G2 Optimus Prime mould (with new arms and G1 Prime paint scheme); and thus features the same head as G1/G2 Prime whereas iPod docking station Convoy features a new show-like head.
