The saddest part about the utter lack of Generations toys here is that many of us longer term fans don't even bother looking at the local stores anymore. BBTS is my local now

    Ditto.
I get the odd toy on sale or MP through TrU, but other than that, nada.

I knew the situation in Australia was bad but I never realised it was THAT bad! Hasbro probably came to the realisation that people are just going to buy from OS because it's cheaper and easier so now they don't give a stuff about the local market.
    New Acquisitions:
    TR Astrotrain, Skullsmasher, & Hardhead

It's less to do with Hasbro and more to do with retailers. Hasbro have offered the Generations line to retailers for the past two years, but none have picked it up, basically because it has no media to support it and therefore the retailers fear having to work to sell the stock. Griffin has written extensively about this.

Geez. That list is just embarrassing.
Not to mention disappointing. And lame.
