Prime's brutality has really taken off in the last few years, so much that I want one of those wings to be a badly damaged Thundercracker wing and the null rays ripped from Skywarp or Ramjet etc.. and some sparks hanging off his waist like he killed them all Hell, give him a conehead cap!

I think Hasbro should seriously put a "brutally killing or wearing of other Transformers is out of Optimus's character" clause when they dish out a licence. Prime is looking more and more psycotic these days. I don't want a Megatron who is scared but i really wouldn't blame him when you have this sort of justice out looking for you.

And i want a Megatron sporting Bumblebee shoes and ear warmers.
Generally 12" figures. High quality with some limited poseability due to materials such as rubber.
Which brings us to where we are today...

This toy is disgusting, I hate it. It's right up there with Sharkticon Megs for my most hated TF toy ever. Actually no, this one beats it.

Good idea. I'd say this is about the only way I'd be able to justify this abomination and be able to look at it without losing sanity. Well, maybe.

I still hate it forever. Wtf were they thinking?

The rubbery material is what concerns me with Hottoys.
There was some paint fading issues for the Iron Man figures that I'm aware of.
Some 3P company will probably pick up the idea to produce those wings for MP1 or similar.
MP1 fits the scale AND transforms so that'll do for me.
They should have done another TF character instead.
But then again, this will appeal to the 12" Hottoys action figure collector who would normally not touch Transformers.

Maybe Bay's Murder Prime has affected even G1 renditions of the character.

Technically speaking, this IS a Third Party figure.

Isn't it a second-party figure? First party is Hasbro/Takara Tomy; third party is IP infringement. Ergo, second party would be officially licenced-out stuff?
