Default Noob question - Masterpiece seekers

Hi guys, Sorry if this post is in the wrong section.. mods please move it, if so.

Just wondering if its reasonable to pay $390 for both Hasbro Masterpiece Thundercracker and Skywarp. New in box.

    Thanks in advance. Cheers.

Don't know how much the price has risen on MP Skywarp, but Hasbro MP Thundercracker was sold in TRU stores not that long ago for $100. Pretty sure I got mine for less than that due to a discount on at the time.

I wouldn't pay that. Too steep.

    Absolutely not.
Skywarp was a chronic shelfwarmer at Walmart and even went as low as $19.00 UsD, so these aftermarket prices are just ridiculous.
Be patient & keep checking the members' sales threads too.

Nope. Patience is key to finding good deals and i'd personally wait longer.

Myself, i am relying on Takara releasing them both with the new MP-11 tooling. If this doesn't happen.. oh well.. darn.. what's next?

I was a dormant collector for the last 4 years until 2 weeks ago. Saw MP Prowl at TRU whilst shopping for a present. Then bham! Obsession has set in. Sigh..
