DX Chogokin VF-1J finally tease and pre order opening on 27th.

I might sit this one out as money is hard to come by and I think this one isn't going to be cheap,.

So who got a VF-1J? I actually managed to get one from AmiAmi so I am happy. It will be my only purchase from this line too. I can't afford to go in on another scale.

I had hiccups with Amiami but got one at Anime Export.
I am happy to support this line and range, but I think Bandai will never complete the line like Arcadia or Yamato did.

What did surprises me was the price was affordable for its size.
When you compare this to bw Megatron, I feel a lot contented buying this.

What scale is the DX Chogokin VF-1J? Is it close to Hi-Metal R size or larger? Completely missed the announcement.

1/48. I’m breaking my rule of “1/60 scale stuff only” as this will be a stand alone piece.

My purchase to support this lineup will be nearly all if at current prices.
The ability to buy them rrp is so hard. I pray Bandai knows which one to release next to keep them going as a wrong choice will result in poorer demand.

This is such an easy milking cart for them as they are mostly repaints.
Fingers crossed they are good quality.

Pre-orders sold out fast. After-market prices will be high.

Yep, and only looking at getting the one at this scale, plus the Super Parts and Armor if announced.

I think the Yamato 1/48 VF-1S is still my all-time favorite toy, warts and all.

Yeah. although it's been a common trend with the retail DXs recently that they are easily available at release, but not for long.
Which brings us to where we are today...
