Overall I really enjoyed Wonder Woman. The only part I was fussed on was the ending. It felt kinda cheesy to me and the special effects with the lightning looked kinda dated to me.
HATRED FOR JAMES VAN DER BEEK RISING!

Still have some stuff for sale. Free pickup at Parra Fair

Eh, no more cheesy than smiling at the camera as you fly off towards the Sun.

Watching Wonder Woman today in Gold Class (my first time) with my wife was truly a wonderous experience!

You were on the money mate. I certainly wouldn't do it for every movie but it's a nice treat. I was surprised by the scale of the Gold Class bar at Miranda.

Glad to read that you enjoyed it
Having a bar on site definitely adds to the experience. I'll give it a week from release & drag the Mrs along for TF5. At least there will be alcohol & a nice comfy recliner for her while I stuff my face

Went to see Wonder Woman a second time. A well made movie indeed.

Finally rented & watched The Great Wall.

    Positives:
+ Visually stunning, especially in the vibrancy of colours (Zack Snyder could learn from this).
+ The "white saviour" role thing wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

    Negatives:
    - Story ranges between being average to absurd.
    - Visual effects and action scenes are underwhelming.

    Overall: "Meh."

The visual effects had me thinking "Seen it all before." But one thing I'd never seen before was the impressive battle involving the two towers at the end.

P.S. I like the oriental scroll work on the creatures hides. It reminds me of certain monsters from the Final Fantasy games.
